TOP FIVE REASONS TO ATTEND OUR ANNUAL TONY AWARDS VIEWING PARTY

The countdown to the 71st annual Tony Awards is fully underway! The show is set for Sunday, June 11 at 8 p.m. on CBS.

For those (most) who weren't nominated this year or couldn't snag an invite to celebrate the best of Broadway in New York City - JOIN YOUR BLUMENTHAL FAMILY at the McGlohon Theater!

That's where we're hosting our 13th Annual Tony Awards Viewing Party but if you need even more convincing - here are the top five reasons you should attend!

#1 - To Cheer On #TeamEVA

Charlotte-native Eva Noblezada, who left Northwest School of the Arts as a senior in 2013 to take the lead role of "Kim" in West End’s production of Miss Saigon in London - is nominated for her first Tony Award!

Noblezada, 21, is nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical. She’s up against Broadway heavy hitters Bette Midler, Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole.

She won Best Actress at our Blumey Awards in 2013 and was scouted for Miss Saigon during rehearsals for the Jimmy Awards that followed.

Let's make sure she feels the love from the Queen City!

#2 - Cool Swag

The Tony presenters, performers and nominees will walk away from the star-studded event with THOUSANDS of dollars in goodies - but fear not - those who attend the Blumenthal's party can acquire a considerable amount of swag as well!

We're partnering with a lot of local businesses who happen to love the arts as much as we do and they're donating a bunch of fun giveaways! We're talking everything from show tickets to restaurant gift cards to free workouts!

Essentially getting paid to get your Broadway geek on? Sounds like a plan.

#3 Tom's Tony Message

Have you met Blumenthal's president, Tom Gabbard? Well, you won't at our viewing party because he'll be AT THE TONY'S!

I don't know how to put this... he's kind of a big deal.

He's been on the Board of Governors of the Broadway League since 2000 and has been a voter for the Tony Awards since 1997! He's acquired some hardware of his own as well as a co-producer/investor for Monty Python’s Spamalot, Thoroughly Modern Millie, La Cage aux Folles, RED, Pippin and Kinky Boots

Again - he'll be a little busy Sunday but will have a few pre-recorded remarks for the crowd. So show up to hear from a true Broadway insider!

#4 Essential Selfie Opportunity!
