Last Comic Standing

Oct 12 , 2014 · KNIGHT THEATER at Levine Center for the Arts

Prices Begin at $24.50

Presented by: Blumenthal Performing Arts

America’s most compelling comedy competition, Last Comic Standing, takes to the road to showcase the winners and other outstanding comics from NBC’s Emmy Award-nominated series. Scheduled to perform in Charlotte: Rocky LaPorte, Lachlan Patterson, Nikki Carr, Rod Man and Joe Machi.

Meet The Last Comics Standing and go VIP! See below for VIP details.

The lively laugh fest searches for the funniest comic in the country with the top 100 comics in America competing for the top 20 spots.  These 20 comics compete in a semifinal round, and as the best of the best emerges, the top 10 move into the compelling challenge rounds.  In this phase, they compete in different comedy disciplines – sketch, improv and stand-up – to prove themselves individually and in teams.  Then the funniest of all will take the coveted title of “Last Comic Standing,” winning a prize package that includes an NBC talent deal and a half-hour scripted project to be developed by Universal Television, plus the top spot on this LIVE tour.
