ECHO 22ND AWARD EVENT
An inspirational and enlightening evening, Echo's 22nd Award Event features a keynote presentation by 2018 Nobel Laureate for Peace, Dr. Denis Mukwege from Congo (DRC), and the presentation of the Echo Award Against Indifference to retired Bank of America executive, Charlotte's own, Bill Vandiver. Former Honorary French Consul Millie Cox, will hold an on-stage dialogue with Dr. Mukwege exploring the doctor's challenging work in the turbulent Eastern Congo, and his remarkable commitment to serving humanity. Bank of America exec Cathy Bessant will present Echo's highest award to Bill Vandiver for his life-long commitment to integrity and service to others. The Audience will leave with a renewed belief in what it possible and the power of the human spirit. *The $5 rate is applicable when parked in the garage after 5pm on weekdays, Mon – Fri. If parked in the garage before 5pm, the $5 rate is void. There is no time restriction for the weekend, Sat & Sun. This garage is CASH ONLY.
Knight Theater seats 1,191 within its orchestra, grand tier and mezzanine levels. A variety of dance and music shows are hosted here. The venue is physically connected and shares lobby space with the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art.
