Guilherme Arantes is one of the most famous and recognized composers and performers of modern Brazilian music. Since his 1976 debut, he has built an outstanding career as a singer and composer. Guilherme has recorded 29 albums, 23 of which were authorial unique. Many of his songs were recorded by major stars, such as: Elis Regina, Gal Costa, Maria Bethania, Caetano Veloso, Roberto Carlos, Ana Belén (Spain ), Gilberto Gil, Bebel Gilberto, Emilio Santiago, Fafá de Belém, Ana Carolina, Vanessa da Matta, MPB4, Quarteto em Cy, Leila Pinheiro, Fagner and hundreds of other well-known artists. As a pianist, Guilherme belongs to the exclusive cast of Steinway Artists and has performed in the Historical Rotunda of Steinway Hall in New York City. In 2019 he did a successful US and Canada tour, a total of 7 concerts including a performance at the magnificent Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix, AZ.
In July, 2020, this POP STAR singer and composer is coming to back to the US to perform his major hits like Coisas do Brasil” ( Arantes/Motta ) , “O Melhor vai Começar”, “Pedacinhos”, “Cheia de Charme”, “Deixa Chover”, "Planeta Agua" and many others.

Eduardo Mendonça
Eduardo Mendonça has played, composed, and directed various genres of Brazilian popular music in the US, Canada, Nepal and Brazil since 1974. A native of Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, Eduardo has shared international stages with legendary Brazilian musicians Geraldo Azevedo, Alcione, and Jorge Ben Jor, Guilherme Arantes and Ana Carolina. Eduardo has performed for many notable personalities, including the 14th Dalai Lama, Pope John Paul II, and former South Africa President Nelson Mandela, and he was featured in the PBS American Masters documentary, Paul Simon: Born at the Right Time.
In May 2016, Eduardo performed as guest artist with the jointly sponsored Seattle Symphony-Carnegie Hall project “Link Up: The Orchestra Moves,” exploring the creative process of this passionate composer through melody and motif.
Eduardo Mendonça traces his lineage to a royal African family bearing the hereditary title of Mamabeka ("prophet of the royal court"), as documented by the Instituto Geográfico e Histórico da Bahia.
Eduardo is Co-Director for Brazil Arts & Education, DBA: Show Brazil!; CEO, President and Co-Founder for Brazil Center and BrasilFest; and iBuildBridges, Music Director.

The $5 rate is applicable when parked in the garage after 5pm on weekdays, Mon – Fri. If parked in the garage before 5pm, the $5 rate is void. There is no time restriction for the weekend, Sat & Sun.
Getting and Using Your Parking Pass When You Arrive
- Pull the garage entry ticket when you arrive at the designated garage. You will need this to exit!
- Purchase a $5 Blumenthal exit pass at the theater. If you would rather purchase by phone, please call 704.372.1000.*
When You Exit
- Insert your garage entry ticket into the yellow slot. Amount due will display on the screen.
- Insert your Blumenthal exit pass in the same yellow slot, with arrow pointing at slot.
- Gate arm will rise and the screen will display “drive safely.”
*Pre-paid parking is not available day of show.
