Falling into a genre of their own, The New Respects mesh pop, soul, and rock &roll with overlays of acoustic tones. Comprised of twins Zandy and Lexi Fitzgerald,brother Darius and their cousin Jasmine Mullen, the Nashville-based group is a truefamily affair, evidencing the undeniable soul and musical legacy that flows throughthe roots of their family tree. Raised within the buzzing creative community ofartists and songwriters that Music City has to offer, the band has been careful inselecting their influences. Steering clear of trends and fads, The New Respectsdemonstrate both their mental and sonic maturity by turning to sounds that havestood the test of time. Blumenthal’s newest performance space is not your ordinary tent. With chandeliers overhead, grass underfoot and a climate-controlled environment, the tent provides a unique ambiance for audiences, merging the best of outdoor experience with the comforts of an indoor theater. The tent typically goes up for festivals hosted at Levine Center for the Arts and offers cabaret and theater seating, as well as standing room.
