Blumenthal Broadway Bootcamp: Holiday Remix
Musical Theater Intensive
Are you a high school student ready to relaunch your triple-threat training in a safe, fast-paced workshop environment? Join Blumenthal Performing Arts and an array of professional artists for a full-day musical theater intensive, Holiday style! Advanced 8th-12th grade theater students will receive exclusive instruction from guest artists who know first-hand what it takes to make it in the world of Broadway, including Tyler McKenzie (Hamilton), TyNia Brandon (The Lion King, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), Thomas Laub (American Utopia, Slave Play) and Bobby Pieranunzi (A Bronx Tale, Bright Star). The day will culminate in a musical theater showcase for family & friends using material from holiday-themed productions
Space is limited. This event is for advanced theater students in 8th-12th grade.

About the Teaching Artists
Thomas Laub: Thomas Laub is a Tony-nominated Broadway producer based in New York City, a proud University of Michigan BFA Musical Theatre alumni, and the founder of live entertainment company Runyonland Productions, which exists to collaborate with storytellers from communities nationwide to bring their work to larger audiences. He is represented this "season" (ha) in NYC by David Byrne's American Utopia, Slave Play, and Plaza Suite. Upcoming: Lauryn Hobbs' Rhapsody in Blue, Selina Fillinger's POTUS, Douglas Carter Beane's Fairycakes, and the Palestinian Theatre Festival.
Tyler McKenzie (he/him/his) currently on dance faculty at Penn State University’s Musical Theatre Department, was last seen on stage in Hamilton the Musical. He is a Long Island native with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Western Carolina University. He has performed regionally and in the Broadway & National Tour productions of Mamma Mia, Matilda, and Hamilton. In 2019, Tyler received the Western Carolina University Young Alumni Award celebrating his level of distinction in his field of work, his commitment to the service of others, and his potential for future leadership/distinction. He also recently received honorary acknowledgement and membership from the National Society of Leadership and Success. Tyler has a major passion for education and has worked with young artists all over the country and online.
Bobby Pieranunzi: Robert Pieranunzi's (Bobby) career spans from CA to NY and many places in between, most recently performing in the Broadway National Tours of A Bronx Tale and Bright Star. Some notable regional credits include Bert in Mary Poppins, Munkustrap in several productions of CATS, Jimmy in Thoroughly Modern Millie, and every T-Bird in Grease except for Danny - just never got to be THAT cool. From ensembles to lead roles, his experiences have been vast and he brings a wealth of information and passion for teaching our next generation of stars to the table.

A special preferred parking rate of only $5* is available for our patrons in our designated garage.
7th Street Station Parking Garage
Enter on 6th or 7th Streets between N. College and N. Brevard Streets.
*The $5 rate is applicable when parked in the garage after 5pm on weekdays, Mon – Fri. If parked in the garage before 5pm, the $5 rate is void. There is no time restriction for the weekend, Sat & Sun.
**If you are attending a Theater Tour or a Ghost Tour, parking for the $5 rate is available during the times listed above with CASH ONLY.
Getting and Using Your Parking Pass When You Arrive
- Pull the garage entry ticket when you arrive at the designated garage. You will need this to exit!
- Purchase a $5 Blumenthal exit pass at the theater or >click here to purchase in advance online. If you would rather purchase by phone, please call 704.335.1010*
When You Exit
- Insert your garage entry ticket into the yellow slot. Amount due will display on the screen.
- Insert your Blumenthal exit pass in the same yellow slot, with arrow pointing at slot.
- Gate arm will rise and screen will display “drive safely.”

Upon arrival, participants will undergo a temperature check and fill out a COVID questionnaire
Guardians or other additional guests will not be permitted in the building for drop-off to reduce the number of people in the facility
Socially distant spaces will be clearly marked in all workshop areas
Face masks must be worn at all times except when in individually marked spots exceeding 6-feet of distancing
Students will be required to stop at docked sanitizer stations before entering and exiting each program room
Shared materials will be sanitized before and after use
Blumenthal Performing Arts is committed to increasing accessibility to students of all backgrounds. Scholarship funds for Blumenthal Broadway Bootcamp cover partial tuition costs for the program (up to 75%). Funds are limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis at the discretion of Blumenthal Performing Arts.

Additional Ticket Information
Registration includes full day of workshops, running 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with teaching artists, culminating in a showcase where participants will perform a group number and either a musical solo or duet.
