VR Lead - Part Time Temporary

Position Summary
Under supervision of the VR Experiences Manager, the VR Lead is responsible for overseeing technical operations, offering support to the Mission Specialists, and opening and closing the immersive exhibitions at Blume Studios on a daily basis. Technical operations include VR head mounted displays, free-roaming technology, and installation scenery. The VR Lead will oversee and supervise the back of house Mission Specialists and ensure the team is working optimally. The VR Lead is responsible for all VR equipment repairs and ensures that all technical aspects are functional and optimal.
This is a temporary, part‑time position tied to the duration of the exhibition and requires regular weekend availability. Weekly hours will range from 20-30 hours.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Opening and closing of the exhibition
- Supervise and offer support to Mission Specialists during all operating hours
- Provide a consistent and continuous level of training to all staff
- Carry out or coordinate outlined necessary maintenance and cleaning tasks to guarantee the equipment and scenery meet experience standards
- Offer technical support to troubleshoot problems as they occur
- Oversee the exhibition’s scenography and coordinate any repairs as needed
- Complete daily operations reports
- Ensure the environment remains safe, clean, and professional throughout the duration of the exhibition
- Perform other appropriate duties as assigned by management

- Computer and/or virtual reality technical experience
- Capacity to troubleshoot technical problems under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
