Blumenthal Unveils New Website Design

Sleeker Design and More User-Friendly
Sep 4, 2007 /

Charlotte, NC—The Blumenthal Performing Arts Center unveiled a new look for its website, BlumenthalCenter.org, last week. The site was created by carbonhouse, inc. a leading design firm in Charlotte.
The website includes a sleek new design and improved features to make visitors’ experience more user-friendly. An enhanced calendar makes it easier to find specific performances, learn more about the event and even download it to a personal calendar. The website also features superior multi-media experiences with sound bites, video clips and articles just a click away.
“Our goal with the redesign is to make BlumenthalCenter.org an even more useful and efficient tool for our customers,” says Blumenthal Center President Tom Gabbard. “The new site looks terrific but most important it will improve the experience of our visitors—make it easier for them to find the information they need and purchase tickets. For many people, our website is the first place they go for information on our programming and facilities; it’s important that this initial encounter is of the same high caliber as the events we try to bring our audience throughout the season.”
BlumenthalCenter.org receives approximately 30,000 unique visits each month. The site features information on all of the performing arts center’s coming events, subscription, membership and group sales opportunities as well as details on the Center’s new affinity groups. Patrons can buy tickets through BlumenthalCenter.org 24 hours a day or by phone or in person at the Blumenthal box office in Founders Hall.
The North Carolina Blumenthal Performing Arts Center serves the Carolinas as a leading cultural, entertainment and education provider.
