MONOPOLY LIFESIZED: Travel Edition in Charlotte, Extended, Again, by Popular Demand Through Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Blumenthal Arts and The Path Entertainment Group — as part of their existing licensing agreement with leading games, IP and toy company, Hasbro — today announced that a new block of tickets to Blume Studio’s popular MONOPOLY LIFESIZED: Travel Edition are on sale now. Guests will now have the opportunity to step into a life-sized version of the world’s most popular family board game through Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026. More than 20,000 guests have already visited Charlotte’s Blume Studios (904 Post St.), to roll the oversized dice and solve escape room-style puzzles since MONOPOLY LIFESIZED debuted in Charlotte last May. A permanent location in London also continues to welcome visitors.

Blumenthal Arts also announced plans to create immersive Halloween and holiday-themed installations at Blume Studios. “We’re working with local artists to design fun and creative elements like sculpturalplants, topiaries and updated photo backgrounds,” said Tom Gabbard, President of Blumenthal Arts. “MONOPOLY LIFESIZED is still our main attraction, but we’re also decorating the building’s exterior and lobby with family-friendly Halloween and Christmas displays. These will include interactive installations, seasonal lighting, projections and sound effects. We’re also planning several one-day events in the lobby to make Blume Studios a year-round destination.”

MONOPOLY LIFESIZED: Travel Edition was met with praise and accolades from local media in Charlotte upon its opening. WCCB called it “larger than life,” while WCNC encouraged guests to “climb inside the game” and declared, “you’re going to have a blast.” QCity Metro shared, “I felt childhood excitement at how grand it was,” calling it “perfect for a date night, family outing or friend event” and “a fun and immersive activity for all ages,” while Queen City News summed it up simply: “It’s a childhood game come to life!”

Visitors step into the high-stakes world of MONOPOLY in this unique experience where the classic game meets escape room-style challenges to buy property and secure victory. MONOPOLY LIFESIZED: Travel Edition puts players in a life-sized version of the iconic game, navigating the familiar properties like Park Place, Free Parking, Water Works and more. Players are tasked with solving clever puzzles, collecting properties and outsmarting their opponents before time runs out. Each team will use strategic thinking to unlock hidden clues, crack codes and avoid the dreaded "Go to Jail" trap. Friends, families and corporate groups will all love this fast-paced, fun immersion into the world of MONOPOLY.

The fun doesn’t stop after the completion of the game. The Blume Studios lobby is a paradise for game players, replete with ping pong, air hockey and a wide selection of board games, all available to visitors to play for free. Players can also stop by the Top Hat Lounge, a bar within the venue where they can enjoy delicious snacks, refreshing drinks (including specialty cocktails with a signature Charlotte MONOPOLY twist) and more.

This large-scale interactive experience is now playing at Blume Studios, a dynamic 32,000-square-foot venue in Charlotte’s Iron District, on the borders of South End and Uptown. Once a pipe foundry for 120 years, the space has been reimagined by Blumenthal Arts into a vibrant creative hub. Blume Studios hosts immersive international experiences, multimedia events, locally produced shows and more. Beyond its ever-evolving immersive entertainment lineup, Blume Studios serves as an artistic playground, featuring captivating art installations, interactive exhibits, atmospheric soundscapes and a bar.
