OMIMEO:  VaudeVizual – April 7-9 – Booth Playhouse
OMIMEO Mime Theatre has created VaudeVizual, a new show created specifically for the next generation of theater-goer. This mind-bending mash-up melds illusions, mask work, vaudeville and comedy. Featuring aerialist /acrobat and noted Cirque de Soleil performer Karl Baumann, VaudeVizual is a late-night, black light cabaret with a silent choir, the deliciously strange Mime Zone, a Robotic Box, a Ghost Pole and an aerial tour de force.
OMIMEO:  Black Light Magic – April 9-10 – Booth Playhouse
The award-winning OMIMEO Mime Theatre, featuring creative directors Hardin Minor and Eddie Williams, makes its debut in the Booth Playhouse with Black Light Magic.
In a show that’s perfect for the whole family, Black Light Magic comes to life when a man is trying to hang his laundry out to dry when a storm hits and he is pulled into the alternate reality by the clothesline.  He enters a strange world of symphonic visualizations, a crazy nightclub and a vibrant “underwater” world with flying fish, a mermaid, an oversized undulating amoeba and a giant shark.
