Winter Tip Top Sale Jan. 20

CHARLOTTE, NC – Performing arts fans can take advantage of a buy one, get one FREE special on select seats to many upcoming shows at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center during the one day Winter Tip Top Sale Wednesday, Jan. 20.

Tickets to select performances from the Duke Energy Broadway Lights Series, including SPRING AWAKENING and THE ALUMINUM SHOW will be available alongside 18 other upcoming attractions, ranging from: musical
events like Woody Sez, The Moody Blues, An Evening with Sutton Foster and Monterey Jazz Festival on Tour; to comedy shows like Aisha Tyler, Charlotte Squawks and My Mother’s Italian, My Father’s Jewish & I’m in Therapy; to unforgettable dance performances by Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Parsons Dance. Tip Top Sale tickets are available online all day Wednesday, Jan. 20 (from 12:01 a.m. – 11:59 p.m.) or while supplies last. To order by phone, call (704) 372-1000. Tickets can also be purchased at the Belk Theater box office Jan. 20 during regular box office hours from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Tickets offered in the Tip Top sale are on select seats that are normally located in the balcony sections of the applicable theater. Buyers must purchase tickets in increments of two and receive two tickets for the price of one (each ticket is half off the regular price.) The Winter Tip Top sale is a one day event. A limited number of Tip Top tickets are available for the designated shows and will be sold first come, first serve. No other discounts may be applied.

There are 20 events included in the Winter Tip Top sale. Featured shows include: THE ALUMINUM SHOW, SPRING AWAKENING, Woody Sez, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Charlotte Squawks, Aisha Tyler, The 5 Browns, Get The Led Out, Lord of the Dance, Monterey Jazz Festival on Tour, Dave Alvin & A Few Guilty Women featuring Christy McWilson & Cindy Cashdollar, African Children’s Choir, My Mother’s Italian - My Father’s Jewish - and I’m in Therapy, An Evening with Sutton Foster, Celtic Crossroads, The Moody Blues, Parsons Dance, Eric Taylor, David Garrett, and TAO: The Martial Art of Drumming.
