Introducing Charlotte SHOUT!

Apr 5, 2019 / Blog

What makes you want to SHOUT excitedly from the rooftops of uptown? Who do you want to SHOUT out for their creativity and innovation? Where can you SHOUT your ideas so that they are heard by our Queen City arts community?

We'd like to introduce you to Charlotte SHOUT!, an invigoration of artists and art-lovers both local and international.

What is Charlotte SHOUT!?

Charlotte SHOUT! is a celebratory festival, illuminating the intersections of community and art. From April 29 to May 11, SHOUT! will take over uptown to present more than 75 concerts, art installations, pop-up performances, culinary stations and showcases.

SHOUT! serves as part of the grand finale of CLT250, which has been a year-long birthday party for the city. This year's Charlotte Jazz Festival, BOOM Festival, and a preview of Hola Charlotte all fall under the SHOUT! umbrella alongside national and international acts and art installations, a true creative convergence in the heart of the city.

What can I expect from SHOUT!?

Art. Music. Food. Ideas. From visual and interactive art pieces to opera, dance, concerts and much, much more, SHOUT! has a jam-packed line-up of events for Charlotteans and visitors of all ages and interests.

We've broken down just a few of the highlights. For a complete listing of Charlotte SHOUT! events, visit CharlotteShout.com.
