Listen with Auracast™

Blumenthal Arts is proud to be on the leading edge of accessibility innovation, among a small number of performing arts and entertainment venues embracing Auracast™ broadcast audio, the latest generation of Bluetooth® assistive listening technology.

Available in Belk Theater and Booth Playhouse, Auracast allows patrons with compatible hearing aids and devices to stream theatre audio directly to their ears for a more personalized listening experience.

We're especially grateful to our community partner, SoundAdvice Hearing Center in Fort Mill, SC, and owner John B. Davis, whose longstanding commitment to accessibility has helped bring this innovative technology to our stages.

How to Connect

  1. Open the app that connects to your hearing aids or compatible listening device.
  2. Select Auracast Broadcast or your device's streaming option.
  3. Choose Belk Theater or Booth Playhouse from the available broadcasts.
  4. Adjust your volume within the app and enjoy the performance.
